Shelbourne FC has finalised our Women’s National League management setups for the 2020 season.

2019 WNL manager Dave Bell will continue in his role as senior team manager with Laura Heffernan joining him as assistant manager, alongside Pat Behan.

Former Republic of Ireland U16 international manager Sharon Boyle will take charge of our U17 WNL team with Karen O’Connell continuing in her role as assistant manager.

Sharon was Republic of Ireland U16 manager until May 2018 and is highly-qualified and a well-respected coach in women’s game.

The club is delighted to have been able to attract a coach of her calibre who has also worked with Republic of Ireland senior women’s team manager Vera Pauw.

The Club is very pleased that both of our WNL teams are now managed by coaches with international experience and with assistants who have won the WNL.

Open training for the U17 WNL team will take place in the Oscar Traynor Centre on Kilmore Road at 8.30pm on Wednesday, December 4.

There will be a second session the following Tuesday. This is for players born in 2003 and 2004 and we would ask interested players to pre-register by sending an email to u17wnl@shelbournefc.ie with name, date of birth, contact number and current club by Tuesday, December 3.
